Another source for ads on your blog

Last year, a new type of advertising service called YouData was launched.
Rather than adding the standard size buttons or banners to your blog, YouData places a unique widget on your blog that features ads specifically tailored to your visitors. (I have one on my Mom blog if you want to see how it works. It’s the long white box in my sidebar.)
Here’s how it works:
- Sign up for a MeFile account.
- Answer the survey questions about things like family size, hobbies, etc.
- Use your MeFile ID to sign in to YouData and get your widget code.
- Add the widget to your blog.
- Blog readers will be invited, via the widget, to create their own MeFile.
- You and your readers then visit blogs that have a YouData ad widget (including your own.)
- Click the ads and collect the amount indicated.
That’s it!
Each time you click an ad, the money (usually 10-15 cents) is added to your YouData account. The widgets hold up to 5 ads. First you get paid just for clicking on the widget to reveal the ads. Once the ads are revealed, you then click each one and collect the value of that particular ad. (You can also choose to have the amount passed on to a certain charity or even split it between yourself and the charity.)
YouData is giving consumers control over what ads they see! No more diaper ads for moms of teenagers, no more Viagra ads for women.
Now I know it doesn’t sound like much money – I collect about $2 per week, deposited every Friday into my PayPal account – but if you’re looking for another way to monetize your blog, YouData is a fun way to do it.
Click this link to sign up or you can just enter my MeFile ID, apriltara, in the “Referral Code” box when you visit YouData.
