Hi ya’ll! I’m new around here in these parts, so I thought I’d take a minute or two to tell you about myself.
I’m Jamie Harrington, from Dallas, Texas. I’ve been blogging for a while, but frankly I don’t know the first thing about getting my blog to turn a profit. So I have decided to learn, and in the process–I’m hoping that I can convince you to come along for the ride.
I have a beautiful daughter that is a complete loon, and a husband that is cool enough to support me through my crazy misadventures.
I’m the kind of girl that doesn’t stick with one thing too long. I get bored with my current obsession and then jump to the next. I’m convinced it’s because I haven’t found my calling just yet. Fortunately my flakeyness need to make the most of myself makes for good blog fodder, so I guess that’s my shiny lining.
Now, about those hobbies and obsessions…
Right now, I am 30,000 words into my debut novel. So, if you love super heroes that kick butt by night and fantasize about the cute guy in their geometry class by day– then you’re my kind of reader.
I am also obsessed with the World of Warcraft. I spend more hours than I care to mention raiding with college kids and using phrases like “Pwn,” and “Deeps”.
I twitter–but who doesn’t these days. Be warned that my tweets can range anywhere from participating in a sitewarming party to a DJ session.
I can’t wait to spend the next few weeks writing for this blog, and I hope we all can learn a lot from each other!
