Intro To Social Networking

Here’s a quick overview of social networking.

This video is a couple years old so we now have Twitter in the limelight while MySpace has lost popularity blog promotion.

Prior to watching this video, I hadn’t considered how our social network’s potential is hidden in real life.

For me, my local community is an important place to build readership and work with local brands. I need to be more proactive in uncovering these networks when I can’t access them on Facebook or Twitter.

What potential are you overlooking in your social network?

    I really enjoyed the video. Yeah I noticed that myspace kind lost it in the blog world. Personally I like facebook and twitter. There is another new social network out there. I can't think of the name off hand. It's rather interesting. Likeadon or something like that.

    Stacie, I believe you are referring to LinkedIn. I discovered that it has been around much longer than I had thought. I found a cool post on how to get the most out of LinkedIn that I will be sharing sometime soon!
