Hi, I am not a mum but I have recently started blogging taking my offline relationship coaching business on line- which has been interesting.

I stumbled across your podcast listening out for how others do it as it is something i want to include on my blog. I listend to the show and was so surprised at the underlying message you gave to other women about making money via blogging.

As much as you said that mummy bloggers will wake up to the fact that they shouldn't be blogging for free, you also gave the message that women are different from men in business and that men are more cut throat and that it isn't a good thing to be like a man.

Your guest actually said women are differerent from men, we are biolgoically but business skills are learnt and our values are learnt and just because a man would employ someone for 60$ an hour doesn't make him immoral when that is the going rate in that country. Just because the face cream irritated her face doesn't mean it would irritate someone elses....

The whole issue of money and guilt just wouldn't come up if men got together no matter what they decide to do- so I was shocked that in 2009 women are still feeling guilty about earning money for services rendered and feel we have to justify themselves - I don't understand it.

I have spent years coaching women to be more empowered in both their personal and professional relationships and wonder if anything will ever change where women won't make others wrong for having differnet values from themsleves nor blame others for doing things they themselves would not want to do.

Your podcast was really informative and I will listen to others, but please get the message out that as women we are not victims and as much as we don't need to justify why we want to earn money, we don't need to blame men and make them wrong just because they do. Business is business.

Another fantastic podcast! I really enjoy Carrie's blog and podcasts, I am sorta crunchy like her :) But she is obviously a very smart business woman as well. I think this is a *must listen to* episode for all new mom bloggers.

Christie Ingram´s last blog post..What I Can’t Live Without Wednesday - Staples Delivery

I loved this interview & look forward to next week's. I'm wondering where all these high paying blogging jobs are? The ones I have found pay next to nothing. I'm thinking that to be able to get the kind of money Kelly was talking about ($90 a post) you have to be a big name.
I'd love to be wrong on this and if so, please point me to the good paying gigs! Heck, I'd be thrilled with $10 a post!

I'm so glad to be here and learning from you all!!
