Profitable Mommy Blogging #17 (The Giveaway Part One)

April 18, 2009 by Kelly

Welcome Mom Bloggers! If you're new here, please subscribe to our RSS feed. Thanks for visiting and please do share our site with others!

Carrie Lauth and April Jones join me today for a special episode of Profitable Mommy Blogging.

We’re having a Blog Giveaway – not, not your typical Blog Giveaway where you give something away from your blog… we’re actually giving away a BLOG!

Carrie has a mom blog that she no longer wishes to write on. It’s just not focused enough on her market. She approached me with the idea of giving the blog away here on the site. I loved the idea – but decided we needed to throw in a few added twists ;)

becauseThe blog we’re giving away is Because Mom Said So. It’s four years old this Spring and has hundreds of pages of great mom content on it.

It is currently built in Blogger – and since we’re all proud Wordpress Snobs, we’ve decided to flip this blog over into a Wordpress site.

And not just any Wordpress site either. We’re going to start with a Loaded Affiliate Blog from Mom Webs - with 50+ great articles designed to promote popular mom and WAHM affiliate programs.

Then, April Jones from Rock Star Blog Designs is going to customize the theme with a hot new look.

When we’re done, Because Mom Said So is going to be an awesome blog, ready for you to take over and rock it! (We’ll even be throwing in some special training… more on that in Part Two!)

How to Enter:

Leave a comment on this post telling us ‘I want that Blog!’ and tell us Why and What you’ll do with it. The deadline for your comment is Tuesday, April 28th, Noon EST.

Carrie, April and I will read through the entries and choose our favorites to move on to Part Two – which is when we’ll ask the community to vote on our winner.

  • I want this Blog!

I want it because I've been trying to find a way to break into the Mommy blog market and haven't known how to do that. I already write a few other successful art blogs but the mommy arena is new, and intriguing to me.

I want to take this blog and entertain while I inform and promote. That's how you keep people coming back. Give them something to smile about.

This is the chance I've been looking for!

  • I would love to have this blog because I have been successful at other work at home ventures, but since my husband recently received a pay cut at work and is possibly looking at further cuts, I would like to turn my talent and love for the written word into both a creative outlet and possible source of income for my family. I also want to reach out to other mothers since I know that the internet connections that I've made over the years have been invaluable.

I currently belong to several mommy forums that I know will be quite interested in this blog.

I have a strong background in promoting parenting events and I currently speak at parenting conferences on various parenting topics.

I promise to do right by your site!

  • I want that blog!

I've had a burden on my heart for quit some tome for moms like me, trying to "keep up" and not knowing how! Not knowing HOW to keep the place clean, not knowing HOW to put the baby to sleep at night without screaming, not knowing HOW to cook healthy meals for a family EVERY day, not knowing HOW to keep a home that is minimalistic, beautiful and not cluttered, not knowing HOW to homeschool.. there's SO much more!!! All this was really "Because MOM Said So", right? Really, a lot of hubby's and kids could care less if we are the perfect homemakers we set out to be!

But I know, from personal experience, that just because they don't mind a cluttered, messy house, full of unhealthy foods and snacks - this doesn't mean it's of any less importance to mamma! I don't have it yet! But I'm on my way.. I'm in constant search of ways to have a happy, healthy, minimalistic home - with balance. This blog would be an awesome way to put the information out there for other moms who are following the same struggle. It really is a struggle, a lot of moms hurt because of this. They have this deep desire to be there, to have the home they envision, but don't know HOW.. because they were never taught. Our previous generation just didn't teach such things, so now, unless this comes naturally to an individual, we have a generation of women who have these perfectly natural, womanly desires and don't know how to fulfill this part of their life. Our previous generation made certain we all knew how to work outside of the home, get degrees, etc.. which is AWESOME!, but this is one area that somehow got misplaced.

In my search, I find very few sites devoted to this, a "well" balanced mom! One who is beautiful, inside and out (because she takes the time to take care of herself), one who has the education she desires, is as independent as she desires, who has the home of her dreams, and kids who she adores and has the ability and time to provide what she feels is the very best for them, and contentment in her relationships. One who not only has it together on the "outside" but can invite people home without fear! :-)

I envision the site as a bright, enlightening, supportive place, where moms can come and learn, participate and journey toward who they want to be. Fun, uplifting, at times serious, with awesome, meaningful content.

Thanks So MUCH for the opportunity This is an incredibly generous thing you all are doing, (wether I am so lucky or not)! We KNOW you could have sold it, but to give away such an opportunity says so much about your desire to help other moms reach their dreams.

    thanks again
    n

    I WANT THAT BLOG!

Hi I'm the mother of 10, a Realtor, a stock trader with an extensive finance background, a cancer survivor, previously a single parent, currently a married parent. And if it's been done I've either failed or succeeded at it and most of it with a smile on my face.
I would love to share lifes experiences with moms around the country and put a smile on their faces when I can.
Humor is an important part of life and motherhood. I think it can make or break you.

So, as much as we don't think it's funny a lot of times...we have to laugh!
  • I want that BLOG!

I’m a mother of 2 but some days I feel like I have 12. On those days, baby drain kicks in and I can’t even remember what I had for breakfast by 11am. My sons are 6 months and 4, going on 14. I’ve learned a lot from my kids including patience, love and strength. I’ve been able to establish and value a good group of SAHM who struggle with the same physical and emotional issues. They help me on the days when I’m not sure if what I’m feeling is ‘normal.’ On the days when I don’t get a shower in until 3pm, I realize I’m not the only one.
I feel like I’m still new to this SAHM thing. I’ve worked since I was fifteen years old. I’m not afraid of hard work and I enjoy the interacting with other people that share my interests. After 5 years of infertility, we were granted a miracle. Our son was born in 2005 and I felt that Someone was trying to tell me something. I decided to quit my job stay home and care for my son. My career in PR seemed like it was coming to an end. After being home and watching way too much Dora and Diego, I decided it was time to explore some freelance opportunities. I started freelancing and got my son into a part-time school. That worked for a while until the real estate market went south and my savings took a huge hit. Our 5 year plan quickly started to turn into the 3 year plan. I needed to go back to work. I started interviewing but didn’t have any luck. After putting on my interview suit one day, I realized it didn’t fit the same. We were given another miracle in October 2008. It was a happy yet unsettling time for me. I wanted another child, yet I never thought I would have 1 much less 2 kids in a 4 year time span. Yet here I was pregnant trying to find work, my real estate investments maturing and our savings depleting. Somehow I know things will turn around. I know that I wouldn’t have been given these miracles if there wasn’t a plan.
I’ve been on more than 15 interviews and I’m tired of answering the “where do you see yourself in 5 years” question. What I really want to say is that I see myself as being my own boss. I have the entrepreneurial spirit and I know that I can do whatever I set my mind to, I have the passion to help others and that is my purpose in life.
I recently started a website called www.TheGiftSwap.com. I help moms save money by swapping new gifts for birthday parties, bridal showers whatever other events come up. I just started it about a month ago and my goal is to have 100 registered users by the end of the summer.
But I have bigger goals. I want to be my own boss and take a hold of my own destiny. This may be the reason I’m not getting the jobs. Maybe Someone is telling me that I need to work from home and care and nurture the miracles I’ve been given. Because MOM Said So is the answer to my 5 year question.
  • What a great idea. I am not a mommy blogger so I will opt out. But there are a lot of great woman out there you deserve my vote.

  • I WANT THIS BLOG!! I currently have my sons blog and blog about his life with special needs. I am a stay at home mom who use to work full-time but have decided that staying home with my youngest son and taking care of him is my calling. But I still have the urge to reach out and do some honest work but just can't find the time outside the home. I enjoy helping other people who are in the same situation as I am. Needing and wanting to find the way to reach out to other moms is a big desire.

Both my husband and I work on our currently blog and just love doing it. Gives us an outlet to our normal days. This would be something great for us to work on together!
  • I WOULD LOVE THAT BLOG

  • I didn't get to but anything more into my request before it posted so here it is again! :0)

I WOULD LOVE THAT BLOG because:

I am a SAHM WAHM looking to capture an audience of Moms who read down to earth informative articles, enjoy seeing, hearing about and reviewing sites and products, looking to better their families and themselves by being
ECO-concious, and maybe looking for quality information on child rearing. Knowing they are not alone with every mom stuggles, where to find quality and easy to follow information on particular issues.

With the site I would love to have an open forum and monthly (or more) newsletter. Everything would be focused on MOM!

    I WANT THAT BLOG

I am a WAHM breaking into the blogging world but the mommy blogging area is new to me. I'd love a chance to talk about being a great mom, being a role model for my kids and my family and just the ins and outs of family life. The way the blog is being set up on Wordpress with the new designs and all sounds so exciting! I really want to be a part of it! Good luck to all the mom bloggers!

I want this because I want to get into the mommy blog market. Yours is already well established and would be a great start. I've been working on my blog, and it takes alot of time & work to get out there.
  • Michele I.
I would love this Blog! I haven't really had my own personal blog but this sounds incredibly interesting and I would love to inform other Mom's how to find safe work at home jobs, online coupons to save money in this tough time, retouch photos, design digital scrapbook pages, create their own website, etc. I have worked in a plethora of environments and am a Graphic Designer by trait. Informing others of what I have found on the web would be fabulous and I hope to get the opportunity broaden my horizons with my very own Blog.
  • I want this blog for many reasons, but mainly to build up women as mothers. I want to help every woman realize the importance of what they do and to be proud that they have this role. I want to have discussions with other women to find out their opinions on mothering skills. How many of us feel so overwhelmed with getting our little ones potty trained or weaning from the bottle or what to do about bullying. I would love to ask question based on the things that as mother's we deal with everyday. I want comments to be focused parenting tips and ideas from others-suggestions that will help mothers feel confident. We as women are strong and courageous and capable but sometimes-alot of times-we need help from other sources. I'd love this to be a resource page for new mommies and experience moms to gather and relate experiences and well-give a helping hand to one another. As this blog is already established it would already have a network built in-I love that. My personal blog-i can use for well-my personal use and this one I can use to branch out and help others. We need to reach out and serve each other and build strong relationships with ou children- I hope that through this effort we all will find joy in every second we are blessed to be called someone's mother.

  • Oh, do I ever want to win this blog!!! As a mother of 10 children and 14 grandchildren, I think that I would qualifiy as a mompert - an expert in the field of momology. My children range in age from 17 to 36. The grandchildren are from 12 days to 15 years. I have boys. I have girls. Gifted kids, and those with special needs. And moms out there...believe when I say, "been there - done that".

I been wanting to start a home based business for a number of years now. This seems like the perfect opportunity for me. If I'm chosen to win this blog, I hope to learn the ropes, and then expand into bringing more info for a broad range of needs. One item in particular, that's been on my mind for some time, is finding information on multiple scholarships available for high school students.

I believe that I have a lot to offer...the best way to clean vomit off of carpet, what to do when your child thinks he has super powers - and dives off his bunkbed in an attempt to fly, what do you say to your daughter after she has been dumped by the man of her dreams! Need to know how to find help for an adult child with bipolar disease...I'm your girl. What an easy afternoon project when you're babysitting for your next door neighbor...get out an egg carton, some glue, and those loose buttons in you're top dresser drawer, and I'll have you making caterpillars in a blink of an eye. From the serious to the sublime...I've got it covered.

Please consider me for this awesome opportunity, and I promise that I will do my very best to offer a wealth of information, a helping hand, a shoulder to cry on, and some laughter to lighten the day...for moms and grandmothers...who are the back bones of our society. And darn it, let me have it...cause I'm the MOM and I said so!

    I want that blog!

I would love the opportunity to grow and develop this blog even further. I feel that I would be a suitable candidate as I have grown and developed myself in the "at home mom" industry over the last year. I have learned from some of the best out there and would love to put my knowledge to good use. I have been dealing right now with some major illnesses and having my husband out of work for the last eighteen months, so this would be a godsend.

Though I hope I am chosen I know that whoever is the lucky recipient will make Carrie proud.

Thank you for listening and you guys are the best!

    Julianna

P.S. We are also in the middle of adopting a baby soon and I would actually be a "MOM" blogger!
  • Liz
I want that Blog because I would love to continue on what these great ladies have done for the past few years, as well as incorporate some ideas of my own. I currently have a couple of blogs, but have recently considered merging them, and making an all around "complete" blog.

This giveaway of "Because Mom Said So" would provide the perfect opportunity for me to share my stories, anecdotes, and thoughts on parenting (not that I am an expert by any means, but I am a proud Mom of 4 children) as well as bring some really fun reviews and giveaways. I have found that I truly love blogging, and appreciate the outlet that it brings to my life.

Thanks for considering me for this giveaway, and I look forward to the results!

  • Hello.

Although, I am not a mother, I have a brand new great niee who recently turned one year old. As such I would be interested in learning how to be a good aunt and to pass on valuable information to my nephew and his wife. You free blog would be jsut the place.

Also, I have begun a newsletter for those who want more good news than bad. It is still in the writing and editing process. But I hope to have it finished within the next two weeks.

In News you Can Use there will be consumer information; products, recalls, etc., vacation ideas; since summer is coming up, serious issues facing all of us, kids, and whatever other positive; for the most part, news. Sometimes questions will be asked for readers who wisht to become more involved with daily living.

I believe your information will fit in with, News You Can Use. By having one of your blogs, I will be able to inform moms and dads on important issues for their children. Thank you for making this a better world for all of us.

  • I want that blog!

Well personally I know there are so many great mothers, so I find it hard to compete as I don't like saying why I'm more deserving than someone else.

So I will just be honest, I would like to win as being a mother I find that being able to help others and touch them through words is meaningful.

Like I have stated I'm not good at this at all. But if I was to win I would take the blog to a whole new direction as I feel I would want to make the current owner proud. I know she has worked so hard on making her blog what it is today.

Well I know my post might not make the cut but I would like to thank you for this wonderful opportunity, thanks!

  • I want that blog!! I want it because, as a mommy blogger, I feel it is sometimes easier to split up my bloggy ideas to multiple blogs. Plus I am so clueless when it comes to the affiliate side of this and I so need to learn how to make some kind of an income blogging. I can learn with this blog and then take wht I learn and share it with other blogs and bloggers.

  • I WANT THAT BLOG!

Why: Because Carrie and April are cool (you are too Kelly) and I would LOVE to have a part of what they have created. I am a mom of 3, step mom to 5, and have 2 already in heaven. I am getting back into my creative writing love, and this mommy blog would be a great opportunity for me to really dive in and roll with the blog!

What I'll Do With It: I will write on it at least once a week. I will also seek out other moms to share their stories with me for the blog (maybe have cool contests like you guys do for funny or inspiring mom stories.) I will love it like it was my very own from the start! Please, pick me, pick me! (okay, I'm sorry, no more whining - why? because mom said so!)

  • I would love to take over this blog. As the mother of three, I always have something to say. I have been blogging for years for other people and just started my own review blog. I include bits and pieces about my family but would love a platform about just family.

I would take this blog and compile some of the best advice from mom's across the Internet and ask for guest posters. I think that this would be a great way for other bloggers to contribute advice about what works for them as mother's and what doesn't work.

What I love about the blog is that this is the exact phrase that I am always using with my four and six year old. They are constantly asking 'Why?' "Why do we have to clean our rooms? Why do we have to brush our teeth?" My answer is always the same, "Because Mom Said So."

I love that the blog has the same name. We were meant for each other!

  • Oh my goodness, do I WANT THIS BLOG! The thought of possibly owning it is scary, yet exhilarating.

I am a wannabe Mommy-blogger. I have felt called to help other mommies and caregivers by providing useful information on keeping kids occupied (craft ideas, etc.), breastfeeding support and help, juggling a preschooler and a newborn, help with tweens and teens (though I don’t have any of my own just yet – I would definitely be reaching out to guest bloggers for that!). I’ve also tried several WAH options, had some successes and learned which ones were the scams. I would love to help educate other mommies and help them to skip over the scam part and go right to the opportunities that work for them.

I even went so far as to create a website and blog, but the challenge is in getting the information out to people. With a ready-made platform, I would definitely be able to use it to help people. After all, we moms need to stick together in this crazy, sometimes frustrating yet oh-so-rewarding thing called parenting, right?

Not to mention the fact that there are SO many great posts here that if I were to win, there are A LOT of potential guest bloggers that I would be seeking out!

Of course, as with most other people, a ready-made, monetized blog would go far in helping out our family. Two years ago I quit my full-time job to be with my son (who was one-and-a-half at the time), and I have been blessed that I was able to be there for him and to help him learn and grow in a full-time capacity. Now with the birth of my daughter, I was SO relieved that I would not have to leave her to go to work full-time. However, I’m watching our savings dwindle, and to be quite frank, it’s getting pretty scary! But being home with them is SO worth it!

But, I digress. I thank you for reading this and for your consideration!

  • I WANT THAT BLOG!!

I woke up this morning to an email from Blog Energizer and when I saw this contest my heart took off racing! What an awesome idea!

The timing just seems to be so right.

I'm a mom of eight wonderful kids. I've been home schooling for 25 years. We have four left at home and two still in school. My passion is family. I have a lot to share, especially under the theme........because mom said so! I have a heart for moms. It's a tough job and they need all the support they can get.

I was able to stay home with my children because my husband was willing to work the overtime to give me that freedom. For that I'm thankful.

Now that the children are older and I have more time on my hands I have been thinking of starting a blog for mom's but didn't know where to begin! Then this opportunity presented itself and it seems perfect. I love the fact that you will help with training also. No need to ruin four years of hard work! =)

I do have a website (EatingToThrive.com) where I share on healthy eating. I can offer a host of tips on budgeting, grocery shopping, menu making, home schooling, organization, raising happy healthy children, etc., In other words, I won't have any problems posting content! My problem was getting overwhelmed with starting a blog.

Thank you for this opportunity. It's an incredible gift!
  • I would be honored to have this blog and continue that high standards that have already been established by Carrie. It takes much more than being a mom and having an interest in mommy blogging to create and maintain a sucessful blog.

I usually don't toot my own horn but in this case, silence achieves nothing. So here goes.

I have shown that I have the experience to take it to the next level as demonstrated by a number of websites that I have created myself, optimized for the search engines, and maintain with keywords on the first page of google. All of them have a PR of either 3 or 4. If you would like a list, I would be happy to provide it.

I also operate a wordpress blog at http://giftbusinessowners.com. I blog almost daily (which is essential for a sucessful blog) and have had 1279 viewers in the past six weeks. As a published professional writer, I have the experience and ability to write posts which would be interesting to read and attract a regular readership. Check out the blog and judge that for yourself.

And, yes, I am a Mom -- a very sucessful one. One daughter was selected as Teacher of the Year. The other was selected for Girls State and Elected Governor. But most important, they are sucessful mothers themselves. I have enjoyed the experiences of raising them and still play active roles in their lives and that of their children, which includes some of their own, some adopted, and some foster children. I have had published articles in national magazines about raising children and the joys as well as the difficulties of doing so.

If I am chosen, I would consider it an honor and a pleasure.

  • I WANT THAT BLOG

I've recently started working the the Mom Blogging industry but have yet to find a way to properly monetize it.

I'm mostly excited about the idea of having this blog tweaked for this purpose with loaded affiliate blog fro Mom Webs.

I'm on a one year maternity leave, which ends in 6 months. My goal is to not have to go back to work and stay home with my two sons. Currently, this is not possible with the very small income I'm making off my blog. I'm hoping that with the special training, I'll be able to continue to pursue my WAHM dream and make it a reality.

  • Hi Ladies, I found your AMAZING giveaway on MomGiveaways--another site I love! I decided that before I put a bid on a contest entry that I should first check out the site to be given away. This is what I found: It is a great site already, and I am sure that Carrie Lauth's 80+ followers and other visitors will miss her sassy and upbeat personality. I read a few posts and thought--Wow, what a shame that she is giving up her site. I have a blog called funforkids (on the today.com platform) and it is a lot of work. I have been writing/maintaining it for about a year now and I am only just now starting to see some signs of ripening fruits from my labor. I can't imagine giving it away to anyone---my life stories, my heart and my spirit are all in there.. I imagine Carrie must feel the same way too. =( In any case, I would like to say: Please may I have this Mommy blog! I would love to be given a chance to continue in Carrie's path. I am a self-taught blogger--I have been slowly learning the tricks of the trade and I feel that I have had tremendous growth since I began this journey a year ago. I would love the opportunity to have a blog that is re-designed and "pimped" by April Jones--LOL. This is a great opportunity for any woman--but moreso for a mom (which I am) who ABSOLUTELY LOVES writing and interacting with her audience. I already have a good following and I know that they would love to follow me in my next blogging adventure. It would be great to have the expertise of the team that will be setting up the platform and the added help that you hinted about. If chosen I promise to be like Daniel LaRusso, the original karate kid, to your Mr Miagi----I will wax on and wax off! Teach me oh Wise one to monetize my blog! I may be a bit green but hey Green is the new black anyway. You asked what I would like to add to the already established blog--- I think I would like to add a segment called: Because Ms. Cheryl said so. Aside from being a mom of a 6 and 4 year old, I am a pre-k teacher and I would love to tell little stories of the hysterical, adorable, and heartbreaking stories that go on in my classroom each day. I can't begin to tell you how much material these little ones give me! So there you have it, the reasons why I would love to have Carrie's blog and something I would like to see added. Oh, and one more thing--you should let me win this blog because: My mommy said so! God Bless and Best Wishes in finding the best MOM for the job. PS---I realize I have some great competition here, all of these ladies sound great and I wouldn't mind losing to any of them.

I want that blog "Because I, 'Mom' Said So!" I'm a beginner blogger and currently have started a private blog just for friends while I learn all about blogging. I am a single-mother of 5 kids ages, 25, 19, 17, 15, and 8. I am also a grandmother to two grandsons ages 2 and 8mths.
One thing I can say for sure is that I personally have used this motto, "Because Mom Said So!" Everyday at least once or twice I say that very thing. I have much experience in telling the kids this because I just think that kids need to learn to listen and not question their mom about everything I say. Especially since I am a single mom.
If I won this blog I would use it as a mommy blogger to help other mothers to learn to say, "Because I, Mom, Said So!" We need to be able to say this without feeling guilty to our kids. They need to learn to respect you as a mom. And what you say does have value. Many times moms feel guilty about the things they say and they should not feel this way. I know, because I am in the process of overcoming the guilty feelings that flood my body when I have to tell my kids no. I am learning everyday to speak my mind and say what needs to be said to my kids.
I also would use this mommy blogging site as a platform to help moms learn to smile more and frown less. To try new things and get out and explore life around them in their own hometowns or by traveling to another city or state. The main thing is learning to live life fully and not feel that you have to be tied down to the housework and responsibilities of running a house and being a mom. Children need to learn that moms are people to and have hopes and dreams just like them. It doesn't all of a sudden stop at the birth of a child. And if I won this mommy blog I would be teaching my children that yes, dreams can come true. My dream is to become a successful mommy blogger.
Thank you. Mommy Blogger in Training.
  • Kate
I would love to have my own blog. I think I have an interesting perspective as a stay at home mom with a biracial child, she is Asian and Caucasian. It does not seem like many websites address multiracial families and I would like to have a place where all cultures are welcomed. I also have interests in everything mom...health, home, cooking, design, gardening, drinking. I would love to take over your baby. She would be in great hands.
  • I want that Blog!

I’ve been a writer, educator, web designer, hybrid scrapper, expat, VP of a local Moms Club and now Mom to two great boys. I would like to add professional blogger to the list. I feel that all my life experiences have lead me directly to your blog giveaway.

I have had and continue to have unique experiences in life that would help continue to make this blog successful.

I have moved around the United States and abroad, so I have unlimited resources of information on toting your tots all over the world. From what to pack, what to do when you have a delayed flight or a flat, where to find kid-friendly places and how to deal with cultural snags like when there is a sign on the door for dogs, but no strollers.

I lost my parents as I was becoming a mother and this in itself has lead me to reflect and reevaluate my “mommy-hood” ever since. How do we balance a sense of self while selflessly giving to your family?

Moms in this era are different. We do not, for the most part, have the traditional mothering circle to help us on this trek through motherhood. We don’t always live in our hometowns. Many of us live in transient towns where people relocate frequently. Our mothers, sisters and aunts who would have lived down the street or across town are now across country or continents. We have had to create our own communities of newly found friends and neighbors, be it in our new towns or online at blogs and message boards.

On the internet, you can see what a mom does to calm a colicky baby, how to find a great sitter, vent and laugh about the flu that had us all shooting in both buckets. You can see what new events are in your area so that you and your kids can get out of the house - cheaply. You can see the reviews on the newest baby sling, how to care for a toddler when your newborn is sick or to just be encouraged.

I would like to add a section for gadgets and apps (applications) that can be helpful for moms. Many moms out there are working at home, getting into digital photography, paying bills online, tracking their household expenses with software and getting smart phones like the iphone or blackberry to keep up with scheduled activities. I’d like to add reviews and links to the hottest trends right now in a simple, ‘moms can use this too’ way.

I’d like parents to come to this blog knowing that they can find anything they are searching for. We are all on this motherhood journey together and I would like the blog to portait that. I think my diverse background will allow the blog to reach the widest audience possible.

This blog will be the place where you can be as comfortable as you would be with your own family. The blog would form a sense of community and loyalty.

So grab a lemonade and sit on the porch with us. Hear a real mom story you can relate to, get a review of a product from a mom who’s been there, and get ideas on how to make your lives easier and make the relationship with your family that much richer,? because Mom said so.
  • Oh my... I could blog on this all day. Long and short of it is that I want that blog! I have been trying to get my blog going but just don't have the financial resources to really make it big. :-)
