    Kelly,
I just discovered your your podcasts about a week ago and I’ve been listening in my car, while running on the treadmill, etc. — whatever I can do to catch up on all the great information you’ve already put out there. I hope that by learning as much as I can from more experienced bloggers like you, I can turn my blogging efforts into something profitable. I’m already a profitable/professional freelance writer, but would love to increase my paid presence in the social mediasphere.

    Thanks for all you do.

I’ve listened to another podcast and a half since I commented yesterday. Today, while on the treadmill, I was taking notes while running 9:00 minute mile. Now, I can’t read them. Dangit! Talk about multi-tasking. Anyway, I have a question @ WordPress. My blog is on WordPress, but it’s the “free” version. If I switch to the paid version, do you know if I can transfer all my old posts, etc. And, will my blog still be a wordpress blog? I’m so confused.

Plus, in the podcast I was listening to today, you mentioned “mimi’s” or mime’s (sp?). Or maybe my notes are just too indecipherable. There’s just so much to learn.

Hey Michelle, WordPress is free no matter how you use it – you mean you’re looking at switching to paid hosting right?

In that case – yes, it is totally possible to export your existing posts and import them into your new hosted blog :)

The word you heard is ‘meme’ and my son laughs at me for calling them ‘meemees’ instead of ‘meems’ LOL! They are group blogging activities – such as this one over on my Sparkplugging WAHM 2.0 Blog:

  5. And realize that if you want a popular blog with a good amount of comments and traffic it’s going to take work. Until you’re well established like some of the other big mommy bloggers you’ll have to work for those comments by visiting other blogs and the blogs of those who comment on yours.
