I had the privilege of being a “mentor” at the Type A Parent lunch on Saturday. It sounds fancier than it was, but it was still fun. Each “mentor” was assigned a table and then cards were handed out to all the attendees. The attendees matched their cards to the tables. It was a good way to mix up the people that usually sit together.
I got to sit with six awesome ladies – Fadra, Lisa, Lucinda, Barbie, Christina, and Dianna.

I would imagine every mom blogger wants to write top-notch blog posts. Blog posts that readers rave about and re-tweet with a passion. You know the ones that show up on everyone’s recommended reading lists.
Unless you’re a content machine, those kinds of posts are not going to come out of you every day. In most cases, they take a lot more time and creative thinking than the average daily post-and they should.
A common suggestion among top bloggers is to write certain posts according to the day of the week. For instance, a review post on Monday, a how-to post on Wednesday, and a link bait post on Friday.
It’s time to show a little love to those blogs that are teaching me how to make money with mine, right?

I’ve been reading this site like it’s my new mommy blogging manual and I especially like the part where she tells me exactly how to monetize my blog.
I think it’s important to make your blog look good, and I LOVE to make my own blog pictures, so I am always on the lookout for good photoshop tutorials, and I have big ray of light plans soon.
This is a great post about blog reviews and how they sometimes aren’t worth it.
